confused Large number of Invalids

Hi All,

I crunch on a mishmash of old laptops and androids. Never had (that I've noticed anyway) an invalid result on any project. Last week I switched over to FFAH exclusively to attempt to get the 10 year diamond before it's all over. On 4/25 I had ~30 go invalid. These were all returned in a short window (less than 1 hour) from various machines. Also have had ~75 go into Pending Verification in the last two days, which is not normal for me. I'm concerned that a large number of invalids will ruin my chance for my goal. Has anyone else seen anything like this recently?

thanks,
mike

Re: Large number of Invalids

Same here. 90 Pending Verification since the outage is absolutly unusual.

Re: Large number of Invalids

Got 2.5 pages of PVer only for FAHV. Did not look before so it could have been much more. No traces of error or invalid which would have caused the loss of reliability across all the clients. If there would have been a new app version it could be understooe, but there was not. What got screwed up then during the Friday/Saturday update, would require tech time, but none have responded since it was first mentioned in the other thread.

BTW, all these were from the 26th and 25th

Re: Large number of Invalids

I noticed a large number of invalids as well. On digging a bit deeper, I noticed that they were all associated with a single OSX machine. Not sure what to make of that.

Re: Large number of Invalids

Well thanks all, I haven't seen any re-occurrence so will just assume it's a one off. I appreciate knowing that it wasn't just me.

Regards,
mike

Re: Large number of Invalids

The invalids were related to the unexpected outage experienced over the weekend. We are in process of cleaning things up and granting credit where possible.

Thanks,

Re: Large number of Invalids

Hi !

I'm getting some large number of Invalid for almost all CPU projects, but specially MCM (the most WU I have).

Is there something wrong ?
Don't see something relevant when opening logs.

Re: Large number of Invalids

Consider there's something wrong with your computer. OCing can be one cause.

Re: Large number of Invalids

No overclocking :)
By the way, other very intensive CPU projects don't results in error...
Do I need to detach then attach WCG project again ?
