Just noticed how close HomeBrewers' different stats are ranked

544 -- rank in Total CPU Time
545 -- rank in Total Points
546 -- rank in Results Returned ...

... as of 3/7/06.

Plus I had to show off my new signature file here biggrin

I've also made some revisions to my World Community Grid Page. Constructive comments are invited. Thanks.

Cheers.

Beautiful symmetry. I've started to just about totally ignore runtime and results, because they are affected by so many things. Interesting to see that they sort of pan out in the end, when you take a large enough sample.

Your site content is good, but it still makes my eyes bleed. But the style is your call, so I will just make two suggestions. Don't make the video clip auto-play. It's rude, and some people don't like web pages bursting into song without warning (particularly people browsing from work). Second, lose the full text justification. It isn't normally done on the web, and it looks weird.

How can I fix that? I don't know much about html, and have been getting by by the seat of my pants. sad But I DO know how to edit the html, if someone here will kindly tell me what it should say.

Here is the original line of text for the video:
<embed allowscriptaccess="never" src="bg_wcgrid.wmv" autostart="true" loop="-1" height="300" width="300">
I just changed the autostart value to "false", which fixed it for MS Internet Explorer, but it still autostarts with Netscape; any ideas? I don't know about Mozilla.
Second, lose the full text justification. It isn't normally done on the web, and it looks weird.
I think that comes under the heading of personal preference, and I see lots of text that is full justified on the Internet; in fact, I prefer it that way, but thanks anyway.

Cheers.

Gee, thanks, Graham. I appreciate the effort, but another fellow -- CKizer from Gay US team -- spent some time and fixed the color problems in a way that I prefer, so I'm going to use his graphic, even though it is a bit larger. It provides a larger picture of the hops, which I prefer, and I like the color of the text for the quote from Ben Franklin, too -- because it makes it more noticeable.

Anyway, at least I still have part of your work in my sig, and I really appreciate that. Thanks again.
