The _1 suffix merely indicates in 99% of the cases that a wingman verification is required. At project startup though no host cruncher is considered reliable until 10-20 returned results have validated i.e. for this project all work units are sent out with 2 copies, eventually they will turn for this project mostly to zero redundant.
Some projects like ARP1, MCM1 there's always 2 copies required to be crunched with bit for bit comparison. You don't want to end up finding that disinfectant is the cure. |

My computer that got most of my ARP has received 8 resends.. The due date is 5/21. I wonder when the project gets up and running the resend due date will be reduced like ARP?

Fun fact, based on yesterday's full day stats, this project is getting close to completing more years of work per day than all the other WCG projects currently running are - if their results are added together. As PV's start to reduce through computers being classed as reliable and not needing a wingman any longer, the work completed per day should only increase.
Which I think answers the question about the volume of WU's available. |

No wonder we're getting GPU work. We are? When? There's a real shortage of useful GPU work. ![]() ![]() |

No wonder we're getting GPU work. We are? When? There's a real shortage of useful GPU work. jihindo had already said, back in early April, that they hoped to launch the GPU version but there was no ETA. The other day I was talking with the Forli lab twitter account and I got this: https://twitter.com/ForliLab/status/1261194223811887109 Edit: There's a repository too https://github.com/ccsb-scripps/AutoDock-GPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 2 times, last edit by Falconet at May 18, 2020 9:22:44 PM] |

Following on from my post above, on checking through my PV's I noticed that none were _0 copies. Checking my valids showed lots of _0 copies with no wingman, so it appears my machines have already graduated to flying solo unless another cruncher requires validation.
Runtime up again today, soon we will all be flying solo and then we'll really see progress! ![]() |
