Possible to use several computers with the same account????

Does anyone know if there is possible to use several computers with the same account, or do i have to set up new accounts for each computer?

I work as Computer-Administrator on an High-School in "the beautiful Norway" wink , and have a lot of computers that nobody uses (at the moment)...
And i thought that i maybye could set them up for this as well if possible.

If anyone has an answer for me, please send me an email with the Subject: worldcommunitygrid

eborg@hotmail.com

Thanks. smile

Re: Possible to use several computers with the same account????

Hello Espend,
The Account is identified by the unique member name. A member may have as many computers as he likes. During signup, check the 'Previous member' box and enter the member name. If you forget to check the box, it will tell you that the member name is already in use and ask you for a new member name.

The question is whether to install the simple UD client or the more capable BOINC client. UD is very simple and is designed for the home user. BOINC offers more options (such as install as a service) and allows the administrator to use BOINCview for remote control of all the computers. Just remember to set the installation to run only 1 thread, or any hyperthreading Pentium 4 computers you have will choke up memory trying to run 2 work units simultaneously. For BOINC, look at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php and http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=4925

Don't hesitate to ask any questions that occur to you!
