I have a few devices running WCG, and two of them run 24/7. Even accounting for the African Rainfall Project, which has WUs that sometimes take forever, I should have a longer streak than "1 day."
----------------------------------------Looking at my device stats, I can see one of those devices has results daily for the past several days (at least). Is this a known bug? The streak counting starts from today.
----------------------------------------The streak is based on the time you return a result successfully (which is somewhat under your control) and not based the time that your result was validated (which is not very much under your control). We do not store this level of information in the database so we were not able to reconstruct streaks backwards in time. As a result, the streaks start counting from today. Will the streak not be reset in case of an outage/long maintenance etc of the website?

I am afraid this new gadget is paving the way for lots of future disappointments.
