I decided to give World Community Grid another chance and started a new account on August 16th and when i just checked devices i have 108 work units completed but when i checked overview its say i have 40 work units completed as none of the work units from August 16th and August 17 are being counted in the overview of completed work units or for a badge for Mapping Cancer Markers. World Community Grid has really gone downhill when Krembil took it over from IBM

Have you looked to your completed results, whether they are waiting for a wingman for validation?

All completed work units are valid and its just the oldest work units i am not getting credit for

Robert, although this is in no way to excuse the new trustees of WCG or try to 'stand up for them', but Krembil took on WCG from IBM as a way to "keep it going", and personally, I think tha ttey were 'sold a pup' as to the amount of time, money and expertise that they'd need in order to keep it going.
----------------------------------------In essence, as has been pointed out in a number posts, Krembil are running this is on a pretty much 'voluntary basis' - and, although we certainly have lost the reliabilty that IBM brought to it, I'm personally thankful that "it's still working" (just). If it wasn't for them 'stepping up to the plate', despite all that we know now, there WOULDN'T BE A WCG.  |
