Communications Deferred message

I just moved to the BOINC client from using the WCG client. It seems to have picked up my project, but when it starts up I get the Communication deferred message. Here is a copy of the messages:
3/15/2007 9:02:18 AM|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user
3/15/2007 9:02:18 AM|World Community Grid|Requesting 8640 seconds of new work
3/15/2007 9:02:23 AM|World Community Grid|Scheduler RPC succeeded [server version 507]
3/15/2007 9:02:23 AM|World Community Grid|Message from server: Invalid or missing account key. Visit this project's web site to get an account key.
3/15/2007 9:02:23 AM|World Community Grid|Deferring communication for 1 hr 0 min 0 sec
3/15/2007 9:02:23 AM|World Community Grid|Reason: requested by project

I checked the web site and I do have an account key. Is there some place I should be placing it that I've missed?

Do not click on the above partial URL. Instead, copy the entire line into your browser's address bar. The reason is that the forum software does not recognize URLs with a ' in them and cuts them short.

Re: Communications Deferred message

Thanks Lawrence, I appreciate the response. My question is, where should I input the account number? When I installed the code, it never prompted me to enter the info, perhaps because I already had an account? I would rather this be something I did wrong since it's much easier to fix.

Re: Communications Deferred message

We hope u downloaded the new version 5.8.15.... older versions would ask for the account key (copy past was best action).

If you registered and did not tick 'existing member', it may have assumed still
that u were already a member based on the known e-mail account, but put a
different key on your machine? Project WCG reset should fix that possibly or
simply detach and re-attach, than ticking the existing member box should
simply ask for member name and password.

Re: Communications Deferred message

I detached and reattached and it works fine now. Funny thing is that there never was a check box. Yes, I've got he latest client.
Thanks for all your help! It's appreciated.

Re: Communications Deferred message

Below is the screen that should have popped up during installation or during attaching.... okay it's not
existing member (UD), but existing user.... close enough wink

In the end: All Is Well That Ends Well smile

PS... the coffee on left is called here a caffè macchiato (con cacao)....... in the US, once at Starbucks they presented me one, but still in that half litre carton beaker..... it was cold before i could drink it.
