though my other user account is a member of "Administrators" group, I was not able to install the agent using that account - all other software can be installed with an account which is a member of the Administrators group.
I got an error message during the installation about the installation being "interrupted", dunno by what it was interrupted though. oh, and the Linux version of the agent is anticipated !!! |

Puzzling. Obviously I suspect a security feature on your system that another system administrator might know about.
