Re: Courine's Legs?

Courine, I'm sorry but I have to go help those poor Christians - they are about to be trampled by a herd of Dutch Cows crying

Your legs will return in one piece I assure you biggrin

applause Re: Courine's Legs have run off?

But no worries. Found some cheap parts. (Computer parts that is!) Will be bringing up a cruncher soon.

When im done, I will have 4 more cpu days to add. This is about 1/2 of what we need to stay top 50 consistantly.

Hi becca, good to see you still crunching. Your score is excellent for the hours served.

Now where is everyone else?

Re: Courine's Legs have run off?

I had to set processor usage to 100% and leave the (2) 400MHz PII machines on 24/7 to accomplish the meager results thus far after a 1 1/2 months. Not very efficient in terms of energy usage. I'm using 4 times as much electricity to accomplish what one 1.5GHz P4 would do in half the time. sad

I REALLY need to upgrade to a new system, which I'm dreading because of the cost of software upgrades. After the challenge I'll probably go back to crunching only during waking hours to keep the utility bill in check.

Onward ho, crunchers!

Permission to come aboard?

Is there room on your tub for an old retired general that has been dead for over 60 year? I'm not much of a sailor, but I learn quickly.
