Good morning everyone.

Not at work but on Runnymede with a pensioners walk finishing at the Bells of Ouseley for a pub lunch.
Of course, it managed to rain a bit but nothing to spoil the occasion. Long, long ago I used to live close-by and can remember the winter where I walked on the Thames and the Bells put tables and chairs out on the ice and served champagne. They don't make winters like that any more! |

They don't make winters like that any more! I remember the Thames freezing over..1947!(or 1949) It followed one of the hotest summers on record (They hadn't invented global warming in those days!) |
