Morning all and hello Damon! (AC Partsman)
 Glad to see you found your way here at last!Damon mentioned processing time etc. Well out of over 16000 teams, we are currently listed as team 391. Not bad for 3 months work! Well done everyone! Owlie says he has reduced his electricity bill by cutting back his machines to about 20! Makes my ONE look a little bit like the poor relation! Thanks Owlie that extra 19 are sure doing a great job! If ever we get to meet up, pints are on me! (anyone know how I can win the lottery? )E-mail from Kate (Haapi) she is competing with daughters for computer time at present..Sends her regards to you all. Now if we can just find that high flying Sigal,and the elusive Puppy..... |

And in the Boinc WCG stats we are in the top 200 at 177. And good morning to you all. Thats true, but not all teams show in the Boinc stats - but they do in WCG- and a lot of our team at present are not using boing agent. However - read the info in the read only thread! soon all MUST be on boinc cos the other is going!  |

Good morning everyone. You can sure send some rain to Virginia, I've almost forgotten what it looks like. Supposed to be a little cooler today, mid 90's (but it's the humidity that gets ya).
----------------------------------------Anyone with older slower machines that currently won't run WCG should definitely load up BOINC. 20 of my machines are currently crunching only BOINC (the slowest being a P200mhz with 96mb ram on WIN98 and a 1gb drive VM manually set at max) takes 2-3 days to run a WU. I used to keep WCG up even though it was paused just in case a new project came along that these machines could run. But I found that it tied up enough of the processor to cause BOINC to freeze up so I closed WCG and now BOINC runs just fine. BTW, anybody got any RAMBUS memory lyin around? I've got a P4 1.7 that I could add to the mix if I could find some affordable RB memory. Well, off to work. Y'all have a great day.
