Re: This Day in History

The last ever Concorde departs from London Heathrow, heading to Filton, Bristol (where she was built), 6 years ago today.

The last of the last...

The last passenger flight into Heathrow, was on the 24th of October 2003, after which, 5 of the 7 BA owned Concordes which were based there, flew off to various museum destinations, leaving just 2 (one of which, was later partially dismantled and shipped up to the National Museum of Scotland).

G-BOAA - is now at the National Museum of Scotland NMS

G-BOAB - still resides at LHR. Many internal parts have now been used to restore G-BBDG at Brooklands Brooklands Concorde

G-BOAC - is now at the Manchester Aviation Viewing Park MAVP

G-BOAD - is now at the USS Intrepid museum in New York USS Intrepid

G-BOAE - is now at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados Barbados Concorde Experience

G-BOAF - is now at Filton, Bristol Concorde @ Filton

G-BOAG - is now at the Museum of Flight, Seattle MOF
