Seeing Berlin divided by the wall tore apart the country as well as separating the city's streets, neighbours and families, mayor Klaus Wowereit said at a televised ceremony.
"It is our shared responsibility to keep the memory alive and to pass it on to the coming generations as a reminder to stand up for freedom and democracy to ensure that such injustice may never happen again," Wowereit said..........

The Mother of All Languages .

The world's 6,000 or so modern languages may have all descended from a single ancestral tongue spoken by early African humans between 50,000 and 70,000 years ago, a new study suggests.

Re: Interesting News

Mr. Berlusconi has an answer to every problem, to include how to stay out of jail, no matter what legal violation... he just amends the law with help of his senate strawmen.

Yes, a nice bolide... picture, there I was driving about 135km on the Milano-Bologna track, near Modena and being overtaken by one of these, whilst the wheels were static... the flatbed it sat on was doing 145km, not even a tarp over it... Only in Italy these 4 wheeled works of art can do anything they like on our motorways. Recently the manufacturer donated a few Ferraris to the highway police. The last [Lamborghini, dubbed Interceptor ] they wrecked pretty quick. Will not come out of the drivers paycheck :D

The flip side of signature strength

Do you know what your signature strength is – something that is unique to you and that you rely upon to get you out of trouble and make you succeed even when the odds are high?

It is an important question for an Indian leader to explore deeply, since the flip side of that signature strength is core incompetence (CI). Yes, you read it right – your core incompetence....
