Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

Here is my little garden,
And some seeds I'm going to sow.
Here is my rake to rake the ground.
And here is my handy hoe.

Here is the big round yellow sun,
Our sun warms everything.
Here are the rain clouds in the sky,
The birds will start to sing.

Little plants will wake up soon,
And lift their sleepy heads.
The little plants will grow and grow,
From their warm earthy beds.

Little Boy Blue,
Come blow your horn.
The sheep's in the meadow;
The cow's in the corn.

Where is the boy who looks after the sheep?
He's under a haycock, fast asleep.

Will you wake him?
No, not I;
For if I do, he's sure to cry.

Arroz con leche!
Me quiero casar
Con una señorita
que sepa bailar;

Que sepa coser,
Que sepa planchar,
Que sepa abrir la puerta
Para ir a jugar

You rice pudding!
I could chance
To marry a budding
Partner girl in dance;

You know sewing,
Ironing, too
Open your door
I want to play with you

Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

Raindrops, raindrops,
Falling all around -
Pitter-patter on the rooftops,
Pitter-patter on the ground.

Here is my umbrella;
It will keep me dry.
When I go walking in the rain,
I hold it up so high.

Pitter-patter raindrops,
Falling from the sky -
Here is my umbrella;
Keeping me safe and dry.

When the rain is over,
And the sun begins to glow,
Little flowers start to bud,
And grow and grow and grow

Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

There aint no sense,
Sitting on the fence
All by yourself in the moonlight.
There aint no thrill
By the water mill
All by yourself in the moonlight
You're just a mug
Sitting beneath the trees,
Giving yourself a hug
Giving yourself a squeeze
Life's a farce
Sitting on your grass
All by yourself in the moonlight.

Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious,
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Because I was afraid to speak
When I was just a lad,
My father gave me nose a tweak
And told me I was bad!
But then one day I learned a word
That saved me aching nose..
The biggest word I ever heard
And this is how it goes:
Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious,
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
So when the cat has got your tongue,
There's no need for dismay.
Just summon up this word
And then you've got a lot to say.
But better use it carefully
Or it may change your life..
One night I said it to me girl
And now me girl's my wife!
She's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay...
Supercalifragilisticoespialidoso!
Y me dijo estaba mal!
Supercalifragilisticoespialidoso!

Re: Nursery Rhymes you probably didn't recite as a kid

biggrin

The three little kittens, they lost their mittens, and they began to cry,
"Oh, Mother, dear, we sadly fear,
Our mittens we have lost."

"What! Lost your mittens? You naughty kittens,
Then you shall have no pie. Meow, meow,
Then you shall have no pie."

The three little kittens, they found their mittens,
And they began to cry,
"Oh, Mother, dear, see here, see here, our mittens we have found."
"What! Found your mittens?
Then you're good kittens, and you shall have some pie.
Purr, purr, then you shall have some pie."
The three little kittens, put on their mittens, and soon ate up the pie.
"Oh, Mother, dear, we sadly fear, our mittens we have soiled."
"What! Soiled your mittens? You naughty kittens".
And they began to sigh. "Meow, meow," and they began to sigh.

The three little kittens, they washed their mittens, and hung them out to dry.
"Oh, Mother, dear, do you not hear, our mittens we have washed?"
"What! Washed your mittens? then you're good kittens! But I smell a rat close by.
Meow, meow, I smell a rat close by."
