Sending Information to grid server

I'm unable to send information to the grid servers. I'm using several clients from several ISP, none of them are able to communicate with servers. Some thimes some of clients are able to send and recieve data from servers. My internet connection and bandwith is normal.

Anyone withe the simmilar problem?
please respond.

Re: Sending Information to grid server

Perhaps you could tell us the actual error you are seeing?

Also, what agent and operating system?

Thank you.

Re: Sending Information to grid server

I'm using Windows client
OS's are: windows XPSP2 and W2k3 Ent.

errors show:
1: connecting to grid server:
2: agent paused, see URL....

I've seen such an error messages, it's comman but after user interaction it tries to connect to the servers and after several attempts it sends data and recives new work units. But I've noticed this continiuos problem from today morning.

Re: Sending Information to grid server

Okay, so you are experiencing comms problems with the WCG(UD) agent and not BOINC, which is none specific to the GC project. Didactylos has warned the techs. We've seen some unexplained hi load activities on the UD server.

Nelsoc / knreed, fwiw, can you move the thread to UD support.

thanks.

Re: Sending Information to grid server

Can you confirm you are not attached to a profile for Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy only. The last work units for that project were send out on the UD client a few days ago. Phase 1 is virtually complete. I send in the last job yesterday and had a pause on the 'HCMD only' computer.

The other possibility is, that the Sunday morning Scheduled Maintenance is running. For timings see the link below.
