Thanks folks. The one nice thing about being a really old fart is nap time biggrin

Nobody seems surprised when I take a nap anymore -- lol

I bought a HDTV Tuner that connects to a PC through a USB port as a birthday present from me to me. Supposed to be delivered by UPS today, although it will be late. My UPS deliveryman has been getting here at about 7:30 PM lately with the Christmas rush already. That is about 3 hours later than was usual before the rush. Should be interesting to see how it works.

Dataman -- then you're about the same age that all the guys were that were with me in Vietnam. I had my 27th birthday there in 1969. Was about the oldest person around. All the officers were younger. Only the first sergeant was older than me -- lol

Hope you have a great birthday tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Dave!

By the way, when you were going into Vietnam, my college was turning co-ed.

Nope -- never got that far north. Mine was at FSB Thunder IV along Highway 13 in An Loc (about 60 miles north of Saigon).

Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 21 smile smile

Happy birthday Dave! They had ended the lottery a year or two before my time so I got to deal with recruiters trying to get you to volunteer. I ended up breaking the one for the Air Force - I tested out and qualified for anything that didn't involve fighter jets or nuclear reactors. All I had to do was sign and, with the papers in front of me, he admitted that he couldn't guarantee their promise to pay for college (I must have been half lawyer then) so I got up and left.

By the way, our new domain is in the process of being set up. I should be able to start working (time-permitting) on our new website in the next few days. My thoughts are to at least get our images loaded first. I may go ahead and split this thread though before that is complete. I also have a copy of Corel Draw coming. Merry Xmas to me! Now all I need to do is "hit the books" and learn how to set up all I have in mind. Yes, this should keep me busy for a LONG time to come! laughing
