Re: firefox opens internet explorer for email links :(

Try: There is in the Control Panel, Applications & Software, Preferences also a setting to indicate the web browser of choice and the mail tool.

If that does not work,

Try loading Firefox in Save Mode i.e. with IETab you can actually set Firefox to open IE for web addresses of choice. I've got WUP to open in an IE tab.

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

Right click on the mail-link, properties and copy/post the i-mail link so we can see how its formatted.

Re: firefox opens internet explorer for email links :(

Two basic steps to help us before starting to elaborate any further:
- which email software are you using?
- have you checked from Firefox Tools->Options->General that it is still your default browser and that the box is checked to tell it to always check for it when starting.

And just to make sure, have you this problem for any link or only for some particular one(s)?

Cheers. Jean.
