2 WUs on 2 different machines. Both running WinXP, 1GB RAM. 1 is AMD64x2, other is Core2Duo.

Explanations for this error are even more vague than usual.

Have you viewed the application graphics, either manually or using the screensaver?

Further research suggests DBG_TERMINATE_PROCESS - a fact which assists me not one bit.

Do you have Dr. Watson enabled, or a debugger installed?

I don't use these PCs but yes screensaver is enabled on both.

Further research suggests DBG_TERMINATE_PROCESS - a fact which assists me not one bit.

Do you have Dr. Watson enabled, or a debugger installed?


These are new PCs and from what I understand Dr. Watson is turned on by default in WinXP; I haven't made any registry changes to turn it off. No other debuggers are installed.

Well, for starters, then, you had better disable the screensaver and see if that has any effect.

Please will you also check the Windows event log and see if Dr. Watson has logged an event?
