Yes, rain forests in the temperate climate zone ...
You think they belong in the tropics with inhabitants like gorillas and parrots. I have been to one of Washington's rain forests near Forks I believe, which must be somewhat northerly to you. The most exotic animal at that time was The Spotted Owl. Is he extinct or does he live happily and multiply? |

Glad to hear all the effort paid off seen from the viewpoint of the Spotted Owl.
No, not a single drop fell on me, but the vegetation so lush that it was easy to imagine that it must take at least one daily shower. Interesting, indeed. Also people's gardens were so full of thriving plants - almost everybody had the nicest rhododendrons of all colors, and that is a quite demanding plant, I think. |

It isn't?
----------------------------------------I take good care of the contents of my waste basket, so I just fished up that confirmation mail and clicked the link once again - and the PHPlist confirms that I subscribe to "Base Camp Add yourself to this list to get announcements of upcoming treks!" Has it helped? Update: Again, I have received an email telling me how to change info and/or unsubscribe. Does it work now, TLD? [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 1, 2011 5:31:51 AM] |

Try to paste this into your sig: "url=http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/index.php?boardid=3749]Base Camp[/url] forum." Don't forget to add the "[" to the beginning before "url"

Don't forget to add the "[" to the beginning before "url" Thank you, TLD, for weeding out my blunders in your very gentle way. It works now when I try it. For the third time today I need a blushing smiley ![]() - and luckily we have one here |
