HELP!!!!
----------------------------------------Over the last few days since all this server maintenance started, it looks like the floor has dropped out from under us! The volume of users returning results on my team has dropped by half and I see WCG has dropped by 20-25,000,000 points as well. Since all the maintenance has been hitting the UD agent users, could we have dropped them from the statistics? |

The UD server is still down. There will be a post in Known Issues when it comes back up.

The UD server is still down. There will be a post in Known Issues when it comes back up. I've not heard what happens to those running UD that run out of work during this extended outage. Lot of lost crunching  This has been handled very poorly by WCG    |

The UD server is still down. There will be a post in Known Issues when it comes back up. Thanks! One question though. Why isn't there a post there about the problem to begin with????? I'm sorry, I know the WCG admins are a good team and I try to be understanding of their situation but even NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of what appears to be at least a TWO DAY outage??? |

Ok, TWO questions. Are we faced with a case of folks running the UD agent are still getting work and are able to return it or are they sitting there idle with agent paused messages and all that crunching power going down the toilet?

Hopefully it won't be that long. Thank you for your patience. And it looks like all of my UD agents (which I have not yet converted to BOINC) have been unable to download/upload work - so yes agents paused. I read thru Known Issues and my mind apparently didn't register that a problem resulting in a three day outage would be in a reply to a scheduled maintenance post. I guess my mind was looking for a thread about a three day outage with more information. I goofed. To the admins, I offer you my apology, I was wrong. Dataman, yes, lost crunching unfortunately. I don't doubt though that the admins are doing all they can to end that as quickly as they can. Their track record proves that. |

The System appears to have come back up as @ 04:00 UTC Dec.12'07.
----------------------------------------The Client will automatically recover, but by hitting the icon in the system tray and operating the 'OK' button under the message you can cause an immediate attempt to upload last result and fetch a new one. Good Night and Good Luck

 Maybe it's a good idea to send out another email to remind people to get BOINC before next year. |
