Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
I've also got 2 kinda half-systems, could get either an X2 5000 or an E2180 up and running 24/7. Anyone know which would give the best results? |

I'm not really familar with those systems, you could ask that question on the "Boinc Agent Support" area of the forum, or let them both run for a few days (crunching the same type of research), and then count the results each have returned over a period of those few days, to see which has return the most?

Thanks for reply, this forum really is quiet!
I thought about testing both but 1 of the shared parts is the hard drive, could turn into a lot of hassle. Think I'll just set 1 up then get the other going when I can afford the parts, will ask Boinc support first, tyvm. |

Today, I've unleashed my new system (an i7-870), which is replacing my dying Dual-Core.. That will hopfully push the team stats up a little and get some research finished a tad quicker.

Not long passed the 5 million points mark and am on the last leg to Sapphire for HPFF2 (should have enough in pv jail to get me there).
