Well Merle, I see you made it back so presumably you didn't create havoc on the road.
Well, it's been the warmest day so far this 'summer' and so I managed to paint the rear windows and the door between the front path and the rear yard. Still a bit more to do and I've promised to redecorate the dining room. Why is it there's always something chasing one up? |

Good morning evryone
----------------------------------------![]() Question for my friends across the pond, can you still buy a "normal" tv over there? Apparently you can't in America any more. The only thing that seems to be available over here are flat screens. I don't know who decided for everyone that a $600 (or higher) tv would be our only choice when a $200 27" normal unit would do just fine. Heck I can get a projection unit for about $700, I already have a screen. I guess it goes without saying, I won't be buying a new set. Anyway, y'all have a beary good day ![]()

You mean those Huge Lumps of 'Lectronics volume of Lectricery Weight doesnt equate to picture quality we are in a state of change at this moment Digital tv is being introduced nationwide My area is about to be deprived of the analogue signal you need a satellite or cable connection the old signals will be switched off you need a set top box to see what was there before as to the flat screen tvs . the regular CRt TVs are still available I look at your price quotes we are talking ££££ 600.00 not $$$$ Never mind the HD systems.... Ps I have several "Old" tvs that I would be pleased to pass on ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Jul 25, 2008 12:48:58 PM] |
