Really hot here at the moment - was sitting outside and had to come in -just a bit too much (not that I'm grumbling, honestly!).

Thanks for asking about the knee Christine. The new one is doing very well - a bit stiff but no pain! However, now that I am walking much more the other one has flared up, so guess I will have to grit my teeth and have it done Not so good the second time 'cos you know what is coming!!

Off to daughter's and family for lunch - may well be a garden bar-b-que as it is such a lovely day, and my son-in-law really likes doing a 'barbie'!

Well, better go and make myself look reasonably normal (no comments thankyou!).

Good afternoon all. Still recovering from a party last night.
It's warm over here, temps as high as 30 C are predicted.
Going boating (old boat, nothing fancy) with a couple of friends for the rest of the day.

Hot here too but heavy showers were forecast and it's now beginning to get darker overhead.
I think dinner will be indoors.

Spent most of the day in a sweaty marquee doing sound checks, rehearsing, playing, ready for over 700 little kids tomorrow
