Hi Everyone.
Guess what? Went into the kitchen, looked at the wall, looked at the paper I bought yesterday, got in the car, drove again to York, bought another roll to make sure I had enough! (and whilst I was there I spent even more!) You would think by now I would learn wouldn't you?  |

Evening all
Another sunny day with continuation promised for tomorrow which is just as well as I should have delivery of a new sofa. Glad to hear things are progressing as they should Merle.You should be able to look forward to a good Christmas with it all behind you. |

Stripping....yeah that's what my boss tries to get my delivery driver to do EVERYDAY
---------------------------------------- amongst other things...if you kno what I mean.Anyway, here's a weather question for everyone. Does you weatherman get the predictions right? Ours, almost never. It's raining today, that's okay, but it was supposed to rain on Tuesday, according to The Weather Channel. Y'all have a great day

Evening all
The on-line weather forecast here was pretty accurate. It was fine when I got up but the beast in front of me promised that it would develop into light rain by midday. Luckily, my sofa delivery arrived around 11.30 and so I got the thing in and the old one out in the dry and before I moved to have some lunch, the rain started and it's been going on ever since. What they're not very good at is when it's a day or two ahead. On Tuesday the forecast for today was sunshine all day. |

Anyway, here's a weather question for everyone. Does you weatherman get the predictions right? Ours, almost never. It's raining today, that's okay, but it was supposed to rain on Tuesday, according to The Weather Channel. The forecasts are not so bad, although the word predicting may not be entirely accurate. I don't think much prediction is involved, they just look at the satellite photos of the incoming weather fronts from the Atlantic and what is already overhead. That takes all the guesswork out of it and is just a high-tech version of looking out of the window.  Hope none of you get my cold  Back to work tomorrow??? |

Our weather forecast is correct most of the year, the weatherman says it would be hot and it is hot. As for the rest of the days, they are mostly wrong.
