Evening all
The rain kept off until about 9.30 so the fireworks did their stuff and we were tucking in to chilli con carne and a few glugs of wine. Raining again now so nothing changes. |

Have you tried using Firefox? I know of other people who use it after Internet Explorer has become corrupt and it works fine for them. ![]() Put the central heating on last night for the first time. ![]() I now have Firefox, and am waiting to see what it does. In fact, I have just noticed that our spelling errors are now underlined in dotted red! Since I had to install everything again I now have that annoying popup again asking me all the time if I want to display nonsecure items yadayada. ![]() You can get rid of that annoying thing by doing this: To prevent the popup from continually appearing, please follow the steps below: Go to the top of your browser and click on Tools and select Internet Options. Click on the Security tab Click on the Custom Level button at the bottom In that top box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section (look for the Internet Explorer icons next to the topics) and find where it says "Display Mixed Content" Click the Enable bubble to select that option Once you have selected Enable, click on the OK button to close that window, and then click OK again to close the other window. You may need to close your browser and then reopen it to see the changes take effect Not sure if that helps you but I like to share it anyway. ![]() It does help - it does; it does! It's lovely being without the yadayada! Good, lol. ![]() |

![]() Pleased you are wll again Ted, I hope everyone else is feeling better too ![]() Busy day yesterday, good parade and very moving, I felt humbled but proud as the crowds lining the route spontanously started to clap as we marched off too the skirls of a pipe band; The day was well blessed with bright sunshine altho' a bitter cold wind was blowing; After the parade the TA welcomed us with a very tasty curry at the local TA center (thanks guys) swiftly washed down with a glass of beer. I got to meet a couple of the lads just back from a tour of Afganistan, they didn't talk much but from what little we heard they are fighting in awful conditions tho they did say their equipment is very good now. Lets pray there will be a quick end to this war. Well my friends I wish you all a good day.......... Old Sage |

Good morning all, Yes am just about back on my feet. I too was busy yesterday at the local Church Memorial Service. Met up with a couple of other veterans! Also repeated my Television fame yesterday with a repeat of a programme I helped make about a year ago. (I dont charge for autographs!
![]() Today its back to earth as I go shopping in York, need wallpaper and of course the inevitable food, not that I have eaten much recently, I have actually lost about a stone in weight, so some good may have come of my recent food poisoning! ![]() Good to see Sigal appear, pity she waited until I was away, I have that effect on young ladies you know! It would be lovely to see her and others more often, if only to let us know that they are well. Take care |

Good morning everyone.
----------------------------------------Anybony know anything about Microsofts new AntispywareXP 2009? It installed itself on my computer and promptly blocked the use of my other Spyware program as well as blocking Defender and my Norton Antivirus realtime Protection and Live update. Window Add/Remove Program feature will not remove this useless program and I have no intention of buying it and sacrificing my other programs that have seerved me flawlessly for years (not to mention I have corporate licensing for the others). Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks and have a beary good day.

Evening all
Hope it's been better weather than here Ted for your shopping expedition. It's been bucketing down all day and, apart from dashing to get the paper I've battened down and kept warm. |

See for yourself: http://www.google.nl/search?num=20&hl=nl&...amp;btnG=Zoeken&meta= Probably a tough nut to crack. ![]() |

Im afraid you have unwittingly opened and down loaded a scam, Microsoft does not send Emails and only does automatic updates when requested, I have heard of this particular virus and it will eventualy corrupt your entire computer. I hope for your sake that this is not the case. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. ![]() Old Sage |
