Wow! My hat is off to you sir!

Hey Dave! How's the weather now? I saw that round, yellow, warm thing in the sky today. I forget what you call it. biggrin

Well, we saw the same orb in the sky here, but it provided no warmth. I think the high was 10 degrees here today. Tomorrow evening, the storm coming up from Texas is supposed to dump 5 or 6 inches of snow on us straight face . Oh well, we don't really see spring until about April here and you can tell it not because of all the flowers, but because the ground thaws -- lol. Mud everywhere. Wonder why I moved back up here from Raleigh sometimes. It is around 60 there this week.

Studying for last 2 semester finals here too..

I might have to end up selling my Quad. The energy bill is too high.. I can't afford to pay the extra $30 a month.

I can relate to that. I sometimes long to be back in San Diego ... where people die of exposure if it falls below 55F. biggrin But after living my life along the coast of CA, it is nice to actually have 4 seasons now. I complain about the hot one and the cold one ... but I do like it here.

Hunker down and turn up the heat buddy!!

Good for you ... studying is good. Don't sell it, just run it for the time you can afford to. I know what you mean about the bill though as you probably are on PG&E too and their rate tiers. I seem to have reached the 4th tier at $0.38/killowatt hour. Yikes!! The PUC won't let them raise the rate so they lower the tiers. But you can't quit now. You have a girl chasing you ... most guys like that. laughing biggrin laughing biggrin

Down towards the Bay Area it's pretty stable here. We don't normally get rough winds or snow here. Just the usual rain.

Hey Jonathan!!! You've been quiet. Have you finally had to study? confused

Yeah, I just finished finals and started my second semester. I'm taking a Doctoral class in Philosophy that is really intimidating. I spent my undergraduate years reading these peoples' work and now they're teaching the class. It's going to be a pretty intense semester for me.

Jonathan, it’s good to hear from you. Congradulations!! How nice to know you’ve got some sweat on your brow! But take some pleasure in knowing that after you get through all the suffering, get the PhD and emerge from the end of the tunnel ... it just get’s harder. laughing biggrin laughing biggrin But over the years you do develop thicker skin, a lot of calluses and some semblance of wisdom. laughing biggrin Keep up the good work.

Hope you do better on that one.. biggrin devilish

Cute! laughing We're doing just fine. Gotten to know some more folks, bucked up our points some, learned a few things about doing challanges - a rousing success I'd say. wink

Certainly. Maybe in the future we could challenge together one of the bigger teams, just a thought.
