Seems my OP question keeps getting lost, so I'll ask a third and final time just in case someone knows the answer
![]() ......are we also going to be producing some tables/graphs to also highlight teams which, say for instance show notable increases in their usual production etc, which will generate some interest and recognition for the smaller teams? |

Surely whoever administers these challenges can.
----------------------------------------a: note team scores pre challenge. b: Collate score post challenge as both total production AND as a percentage increase. Otherwise these things are pretty much a foregone conclusion before they start. The smaller teams need something for motivation-------they merit recognition too. Otherwise the challenges will merely be a 10 biggest teams self congratulatory exercise....aka pointless. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 24, 2008 6:50:55 PM] |

Im sorry, the answer is yes. There are many now that can provide this service. I will try to string it together with commentary to complement the thread. ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by courine at Feb 25, 2008 3:40:14 AM] |

Whatever the final result, whether there will be graphs and percentages or not, this challenge has already been very beneficial for WCG: it has attracted here one of the biggest DC teams which was almost absent from WCG!
----------------------------------------4,000 new members and 18 million points in two weeks and before the race has even started, that is not nothing! If only that could give ideas to some of the other big ones... |

Ady,
----------------------------------------I suppose your question is addressed at the one organizing and writing the Opening Post (OP). courine says she's stringing it together with commentary, so the topic of tables / graphs, racing measure / handicap criteria, what not is open with "There are many now that can provide this service".... who's being volunteered here? Each team free to set their own goals and just race that rodent full throttle through the end of March 23, not March 24, would be my idea of this (It just occurred to me that with BOINC wide team features and cumulative challenge race data being published daily, if this goes in any way into xml exports. The scraping is slow.)

Oh, there are others helping with stats. Even Bok at FreeDC is looking at it.
----------------------------------------The reason why I dont change the date on the banner, is the convention set by the WCG website. The race ends the moment it becomes the 24th. It also starts the first moment of the 1st. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm Embarrassed, but it does end on 23:59:59 UTC of March 24th, not 23rd as what RKN_frost wrote in the OP "Christmas is gone and with easter ahead of us, we decided to take this opportunity and again launch a competition: the bunny race. It will take place at WCG from March 1st to March 23th (easter monday)."
----------------------------------------For comparison the X-mas race ended on 24th Dec, and stopped counting with the WCG time start of 00:00 UTC on the 25th.
