It seems that the HCC WUs are still having problems, also the faah project can hang my vista...
 Are they ever going to make it right? Or maybe I should forget about this M$ platform... |

It seems that the HCC WUs are still having problems, also the faah project can hang my vista... Pepe88, if you will could you tell WCG what the problem is in detail in a support forum thread. That would be much appreciated. Are they ever going to make it right? Or maybe I should forget about this M$ platform... I run Vista on just 2gb rammed quad and it done thousands of WCG jobs without a glitch. Mind you the Vista came with the computer. Upgrading machines to Vista from e.g. XP introduces an infinite number of issues to include device drivers of sorts, particularly with NVidia. thanks

I use a c2q6600 rammed with 4GB ram and yest it has done a few WCG jobs as well, but the HCC project is getting me around 1k per day while running the others gets me over 1600points...

Very hard to comprehend as Q6600/Vista is the best combo for HCC and before the code improvements was one of the few actually racing thru the jobs without the page faulting (it's also the smallest project). Can you post a few pages of your Result Status list, Sort by Date returned so we can analyse why the points throw you off so much. Does not matter what combo, but my quad does 1.5/1.6k with WCG a day. That will fluctuate at times as validation sometimes goes a little bit in a jerky way.

Yes I am running vista64 ultimate, boinc for vista64 and now I am running only faah and dddt. Guess what: my outcome increased quite impressively!

I run FAAH and DDDT myself to keep the points up, but my heart is in HCC. So I traded with another who doesnt have any probs running HCC and was running FAAH.

After the peak my scores are on the slope again. |I just cant get it why I have to change projects all the tiume to keep up the score?
