How many here know the name of ANYTHING exactly, without error? Some can't remember their old memberID, and end up with two or three of them.

 WooT Made the top 2000 personal score! Now that I can type, It's back to work.  WTG!! That puts you ahead of a million or so crunchers!! I'm on a pretty steep slope, it's 1 step up and .9 back. I feel like a yo-yo! LOL But I'm holding position fairly well. Dear Cargod, Need I remind you of that long string of gold stars you had. Do you know that I would do to have stats like yours. hehehehehe, I like that, hehehe, FAIRLY WELL, HOHOHO, dont make me die laughing!   You made it into the top 50 at Free-DC LOL, with my old, decrepit fleet that is a miracle. I only have 2 core duos and 1 dual core in the entire fleet. Other than that, my machines are all 2Ghz or less. That just shows that no matter what hardware you have, you can make a difference when you get a bunch of machines crunching!     |

Ok, thanks. I will try it, but they do need to fix it so you can directly type the name w/o a search. Sekerob thinks that that strange team ID number needs to be included in the invite, so that's why it has to do a search instead of merely a name. Putting a unique word in the description couldn't hurt either.

The problem was when you try to invite a team to a challenge and they have a very short name, the search for the team name (which is the only way to find the team name, no direct text string entry) can easily deliver more than 25 matches (which is the max number of matches shown).
----------------------------------------So try to invite team UK. All the matches for of the string in every team name and discription that contains "UK", and since the team (in this case) at the end of the alphabet, it is even worse. To fix this, it was suggested that the search string contain part of the team discription text as well. This worked. There has been much improvement in the team challenge system. Just this time, they missed a spot. |
