I don't know if BOINC will work with Windows 7.
----------------------------------------Anyone heard yet? I am installing W7 on a mid-level machine I had sitting in the corner. 2.53Ghz/1.25MB/128MC AGP We'll see if it lives up to the promise of decent performance on machines that are dogs with Vista. |

I don't know if BOINC will work with Windows 7. Anyone heard yet? Don't know, but most people who tried Win7 confirms, that it's faster than Vista. Sure it's just beta and has some bugs (specifically some non-critical glitches with Windows Explorer were mentioned). So, it should be fine. I've downloaded beta, but actually have only one VERY old machine, that can run XP... run?... no, more like to crouch. 8) I was one of the "lucky" ones who lost some workunits (one result and some 40% of other unit on one machine) while WCG's servers were migrating. So my avarege results have dropped for now.  |

All my work systems had problems connecting with the old work units, so I had to dump them all and get new work. Should be back on the path of crunching.

Hey, you started to speed up! Tha's good! Yes, we did start to speed up. But there are still so many systems not reporting in. In fact, I have had to redo 3 systems here myself. So the best thing to do at this point is check your systems.
