Hi,
After any minutes Boinc is crashed and have the error message: ./boinc: symbol lookup error: ./boinc: undefined symbol: gzopen64 i can´t start the boinc-client again everytime the same error. System: Gentoo Linux 2.6.21-gentoo-r4 Pentium 4 2,8GHz PLease help me |

You seem to be missing some libraries you need.
Where did you get BOINC from? |

What version did you download?
You might want to try an older (5.10.21) one and see if that works for you. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_5.10.21_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh That's a directly download link. |

I used 5.10.28 but on my other System (Opteron64Bit) it works. i have downgraded my boinc to 5.10.21 and test it now

Ok the Version 5.10.21 is running on linux without errors. thx
