FWIW, it's cooler today down here in SW Florida, as in mid 70s at night instead of low 80s.

On the hardware front, I setup a NAS today in my home office (Asustor 4004T). So far, so good. I wish I'd gone this route much sooner. Hopefully I can sort out the multiple files on multiple hard drives on multiple PCs mess that I have currently.

Let me know how that NAS goes. wink

How bad have those hurricanes been? So many TV shots of incredible damage everywhere it seems. I have been through about 5 hurricanes myself (Houston + Charleston). The head-scratcher is how tornadoes form DURING and just after the hurricane. Pain in the you know what. Pulling carpets out, looking for that can of tuna fish and wondering how bad my car was in the apartment complex in 2 of these wild storms. Yet these folks in these last several hurricanes in the gulf and the south are unreal ... crying

as a side-note, people living in those apartment complexes really do form bonds and help each other. Incredible! good luck

I think that the majority of crunchers here know that results are at a low level because of certain projects here for one reason or another; moving to another location, etc. I think we will soon see new projects here. If you look at the WCG results figures, you will see very large Teams just above AND below us. good luck

I recently started running MCM jobs, which despite taking 2x longer to run don't generate more points than Zika ?!?! I definitely don't understand how points are determined.

Lately, I haven't been able to devote 100% of all available cores to WCG as I've been very busy running work related jobs on all of my PCs, which of course is nice as it pays the bills . . . .

Yes, that is true about MCM. Now running OET, Zika and SSC. When we had CPU jobs, I was really bringing in the Results like crazy. Next post, I will show you an example; everyone loves those CPU projects!! biggrin

Yes, that is correct!

Here is my Certificates that I gor for a couple days of crunching at Stanford Universitiy's Folding At Home:

EDIT: PLEASE NOTE that I crunched those nearly 14 years ago, before our Team moved here at the WCG. The listed date in the certificates are the retrieval date.

Now you know why I have been asking this question HERE. So many crunchers here and ALL of them deserve this. Something that is worth getting some nice printer paper so you can hang this on a wall! Yes! Watch get in trouble when I ask WCG to do this. biggrin
