I may not post or crunch as much as i would like. Saying I appreciate your constant flow of posts to the forum Macromancer, it keeps me engaged at least amd wanting to keep pushing the chips I have dedicated and considering others.

I have my old dual core desktop ive been considering firing up, but i dont know if it is enwrgy efficient enough. its almost 10 years old now. making a budget build in a microatx has got to be more energy saving than that thing.

It's great to hear from you, Zephyrspark.

I have an older Xeon based workstation that is very energy inefficient. I'd like to replace it with a more modern setup, but given the current chip shortage and cost of components, I haven't yet found the magic mix of threads/energy efficient/low cost. Still looking, though.
