Re: Discovering dengue Drugs - Together Crunching Chart

We did hear from Dr. Stan Watowich quite recenty to include that a 5th target, leishmaniasis was added to the DDDT project. For those that count the years though, a milestone was passed yesterday, accumulating 10,000 of the CPU year kind on this project. AND, the project continues to gain steam.

Great work everyone! biggrin
I am curious to know if the latest target added based on data recieved from WCG or was it another research avenue? I had been wondering why the estimated completion date had not changed even with the ~2.5X more crunching that has been going on with this project lately.

Re: Discovering dengue Drugs - Together Crunching Chart

The project is going to end sooner than Oct. There's about 2 weeks more work until it ends according to the announcement yesterday. I see the chart is already showing the current %age complete.

Thanks for all the hard work keeping the charts up to date Sek. applause

DDDT Feeder frenzy... the only project that is up for the Saturday morning session, looking to be 2 CPU years at least, 3-4 CPU years possible over Friday. The weekend afternoons are usually stronger.

Re: Discovering dengue Drugs - Together Crunching Chart

Curiously, today we're heading for 30.6 million points record on the project. Back when we had the CPU record of 44.3 years for DDDT, that got 25.6 million points awarded, where today is looking at ~37.5 years. Effectively this translates to a factor 1.42 power. Pretty neat, since that 44 years was done on Oct.29, 2007.

I just posted a reply in the other thread to ask about the estimated end date.

Are we setting a new record because of badge/points hunting? biggrin
And this on a Sunday!

applause Re: Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together, Phase I Crunching Chart

Let's consider that the projected 3k Work Units returning today is 0.00001% of the total WU's and you won't be seeing the chart % change in this chart from 99.99%... until the word is given by the project leaders :D
