I have used UD for some years and then got sent a link to WCG and somehow or other ended up with both running. Does anyone know what I do now that UD is going .. so I just abandon the task it was doing and uninstal the program from my machine? Or will that wreck the BOINC? The UD is 75% through a task on drugs for aids? Or should I halt the BOINC one to allow the UD one to finish before UD disappears? Does anyone know?

Hi Jessica,
----------------------------------------yes, right click the brighter WCG system tray icon representing the UD agent and exit, go to the Software Control Panel and uninstall and also check on your Startup menu if an autostart shortcut is there. Delete that one too (right click, 'delete' on pop up menu). The BOINC icon for WCG is somewhat darker and signifies the difference. You could let the UD agent finish the job and do the obliteration after and until then exit the BOINC agent.

Thank you, that's very clear. Will wait for the UD to finish and disable the BOIN C one until it has and then delete the former, and all should be well
