Sorry Dataman, I looked at your list too quickly: I read it as a list of WUs of yours instead of the detailed list of all other participants for this WU. And no DDL message either in Boinc messages (like for Adywebb)? I hope the techs are watching those early returns...  Cheers. Jean. This is a known issue with this work unit. I have looked into it and it is missing a key parameter from the researchers. All of the work units with R00001_ 2ee58707a07ab1dcd3939f9a26c11ae5_* have errored out due to this. I have contacted the researchers about this but will probably not recieve word back until tomorrow. The good thing about this is the error happened quickly and little cpu time was used. Thank you for your patience and participation, -Uplinger Computational Error immediately on start of WU. Adywebb, It seems that your WU could recover from the DLL error after restarting but that the techs have underestimated the speed of your machines: too many results for the size limit they have set. I am at about 1 MB for this file with only a 2.88 GHz Q6600. Cheers. Jean. Jean - first one I posted was on a QX6700 @ 3GHz, and the last ones on a Q6600 @ 3.4GHz if that helps. |

This is very interesting that your machines are failing like this. Can you copy all of your messages into a text file. Then, can you please shutdown your boinc agent and restart it. When you do this, please go into your slots directory and zip up the directories and email them to support@worldcommunitygrid.org ATTN: Uplinger. Also, when you restart your agent, please let it run for a few minutes and copy the messages and send those to me also. This will assist me in figuring out what is causing your problem. Edit: I forgot to say, regarding the "write_coords(): couldn't open best1.pdb for appending!" message it seems that it is not serious. Not only computation goes on but I also had it once in each of my WUs which are Pending validation. Ady, see above the edit I have added to my previous answer. Things are moving very fast currently! |

These work unit are safe to crunch. We have received many successful results already. With every project there are minor bugs that were not found in testing. Please let those work units you have finish.

8 hours sharp. Bumped them up in the queue and consequently they are, as what is called in certain quarters, PV jail, and not a single other has joined yet in the quorums.
