Ab-so-friggin'-lutely. :D And I see that you've got one of my rants on your front page. I should probably clean up the spelling and grammation.

My motives were simple: I was bandwagon-hopping and didn't want to be bored while doing so. And you will notice that today we surpassed you in daily points!

But, uh . . . our devotion to WCG is PALTRY compared to our devotion to Tribes back in the heyday. We had shoutcasts of multiplayer matches that hundreds would tune into, and we even had streaming video coverage. We've had 400+ person LANs, including a synchronized East Coast West Coast mega-lan.

In short, we like to obsess over our games. It just makes it more fun.

Of course, my first post in this thread says a lot about TribalWar, so hopefully none of this came as a surprise. Especially this:

- nobody cares.
- yet somehow everybody cares way too much.

I mean, that "we talk about raping pets" thing wasn't purely humorous hyperbole. I can't count the number of times I've described (in frightening detail) the Hot Night that me and someone's goldfish were going to have. (hint: I used the phrase "living condom").

In light of this, take our fanatical, arbitrary hatred of MyOnlineTeam with a dose of salt. :) We hate you, but only on principle, and only because it's so fun.

P.S. -- thank you for providing the necessary motivation to get our members rolling again. I picked you guys arbitrarily -- I was going to choose Team Canada to use as a scapegoat (and even used a slight Canada-jab in my description of you guys ;)), but a) they are not producing much on a daily level and really don't stand in our way, b) some of our guys are Canadian (not that we don't laugh at them, and that they don't laugh back) and c) your web site design really does drive me up the wall. Seriously, christ, send me the original graphics and I'll see what I can do. The gradients -- they constitute a preemptive assault all on their own, and the noise texture for the background . . . it's like the War On Terror, but replace "terror" with "taste", and "war" with "rape", and "on" with "of".
