Reply to this Post Reply with Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe someone should come up with a BCS-like formula (a "forumula"?) for ranking teams based on number of Members, Run Time, Points Generated, and Results Returned... Cause it looks like right now IBM Corp has 3.2x as many members as MOT, but are only producing 1.1x as many points. TW has 3.6x as many members as MOT, and are producing 1.5x as many points... And all three of those teams are beating Slashdot in points/member (at least for 4/12/05). But none of them are even in the top 10 in points per hour of run time... Guys - saw the above post as well. Formula / computation is beyond me but maybe one of you guys may have ideas on this .. stats like these can't hurt with recruitment !! |

 But now, a tear.  A moments silence please in memorium of Dell Latitude C800 "Home2", passed away quietly during the night, with merely a trace of white smoke smeared across the docking station behind the fan exit port. He had had a good life, was well travelled and did a lot for charity. He leaves behind a young Vaio who is currently being consoled by family and friends.Doh! For those of you who are about to pass me, I salute you!  |
