Guys and Gals
Hate to say this but maybe we need to stir something up with TW just to give them something to shoot at (figuatively). My skin is as thick and tough as Rhino hide, if anyone is game just make sure you have a well callused hide before you dive in. If my team mates would rather me not stir the pot I sain't for your sakes but for all who know me, know that a little fecal matter or even a club never scares me off. They have legs and arses that need a nip to get them humming again. ![]() Paws |

OK! Shucks! Got to leave the wet behind the ears TW gang alone, no stirring up the pot --- but you have to admit it would have been a really stinky and sticky pot to stir. ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 19, 2005 2:43:18 AM] |

Congrats David, looks like this was your team's first 200,000 point day. Now lets stay there and set our goal on a 300,000 point day.
Team, let's focus on making our on line team bigger, stronger and more unified. Forget about the other teams are doing and not doing, and let's all focus on ourselves. Let's go MOT. |

I've been a game farmer for many years and know what I am talking about.
----------------------------------------Paws our 'nice' pet has fooled us for a long time. He is NOT a domestic pet, I have studied wild dogs for some time now and I can speak with authority. The first big difference between a house dog and wild dog is the smell- believe me he might be a pet but DO NOT hug him!! ![]() Then there is the general nastiness that is a trademark of the wild dog. the way that he will pretend to be all cutie and cuddly and lovy duvy. Be warned. Yes, I must admit, the wild dog loves his pack more than anything, but is always ready to have a bite at you for the smallest of reasons. Other TRIBES (tribals) ![]() I’m not saying that it is totally impossible to keep a wild dog as a pet…. It just takes more effort, and you must always be aware that you are dealing with something inherently dangerous and vicious. The main problem with them as pets, it is easy to wash dog pee from your trousers or car wheels, wild dog pee though, has a clingy residue and once he pees on you, you will know that you have been peed!! ![]() ![]()

A few notable firsts were achieved yesterday - fantastic effort by the way
----------------------------------------![]() Yesterday we saw the other side of 200K for the first time - 206531 points in a day !!!! Yesterday we posted more than IBM Corp on a working day for the first time Yesterday we broke the 1 TeraFlops milestone. (How do I work this out? First it has to be said that it's a rough calculation. I have a 3200+ Athlon XP with 512Mb of Memory and it alone was scoring 29.4 points per hour. It benchmarks at 3.447 Gflops. Yesterday - when all my troubles seemed so far away, sorry I couldn't resist it ;-)) - we posted 206531 points, just had to say that again. That's 8605 per hour divided by 29.4 makes 292.69 3200+ Athlon XP's with 512Mb of memory or to put it another way an Athlon XP 936000+ on all day for the WCG. 292.69 * 3.447GFlops = 1008GFlops = 1.008 TereFlops) Yesterday we made it through 20,000 Hits on the website since it's launch on the 5th December 2004. You are the best team team team on the WCG. Only 2 teams in front of us and none have an IBM prefix. We must have TW rattled ;-)) And yet we still only 22nd in numbers. Thanks to you all for sticking in there. Best Regards I don't really need to add keep 'em crunching Dave ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Apr 19, 2005 5:30:53 AM] |
