After a damp start it's been a pretty bright day. However, with a stiff cool breeze it wasn't shirtsleeves weather, or at least not for me.

Up and crunching again, have had to close down old computer, it was running to slow (know the feeling sad ) am now crunching on a spare one.

Billingsgate -----Fish
Spittlefields -----fruit and veg
some robust language but
interesting people who work in the early hours to send produce to our local shops

having obtained some peas
I was shucking them when I thought about the Birds eye punch line "fresh as the moment as the pod went pop"

Now that everyone (almost ) buy's frozen peas.
I doubt that the younger generation would even under stand that .

Pretty good fresh peas from our local supermarket so, for the moment we're not tempted by frozen ones but, in general, I have found them pretty good.
As for chips, yonks ago I used a deep fryer in the garage but now the oven ones rule the roost.
