Just watched on iplayer catch up lunnon Markets
----------------------------------------on thursday bbc2 Smithfield -----meat Billingsgate -----Fish Spittlefields -----fruit and veg some robust language but interesting people who work in the early hours to send produce to our local shops (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( having obtained some peas I was shucking them when I thought about the Birds eye punch line "fresh as the moment as the pod went pop" Now that everyone (almost ) buy's frozen peas. Pretty good fresh peas from our local supermarket so, for the moment we're not tempted by frozen ones but, in general, I have found them pretty good.
As for chips, yonks ago I used a deep fryer in the garage but now the oven ones rule the roost. |
