I wonder how much of it is down to the SAD syndrome? certainly could do with some sunshine and good news for a change

Well the snow as finally cleared from here only to be replaced by heavy tedding, still very cold and windy too, spring can't be far away now tho'

All that is/was British, the 'Corner shoppe' Paper boys, Milkmen, Woolworth's, the Odeon Cinema, The Local Pub, Red Telephone Boxes, Bobbies on the beat; I could go on and on, seems to be disappearing, I wonder how long it will be before the 'Union Jack' is replaced too? What is happening to this Majestic Isle, once the envy of the world we are losing our Identity and becoming a melting pot of all nationalities, a split society with no allegiance to the Crown whatsoever, everyone out for himself and s*d you jack, and all the Banks, apart I believe the Co-operative Bank, are now owned by other countries, is this progress or have Governments past and new sold us out?
