A Frosty Morning to you all

Evening all
Pleasant day here but heavy tedding forecast for tomorrow. I've always been used to a tiny kitchen so the freezer is just the small one that is part of the fridge combi. Still it does mean that things don't get forgotten at the bottom of a chest one and with a weekly shop and the odd order from Donald Russell, it is quite sufficient. This winter a bag in the shed would have been enough and cheaper. Anyway, I hope it's all going to plan Merle and that you'll be having an opening party any time soon. |

Well now they have started unpacking all the new 'stuff'. it really is hard to find anywhere to sit!
  But I think it will look very nice eventually! Got to go and try to find some wall tiles now, then probably something for the floor. It really is like something approaching a 'nightmare' but I am determined to stay positive  Biggest disaster of all is that I have had to cancel my hairdresser for two weeks (she comes to the house to do my hair), so it is not a pretty sight. Just have to keep reassuring myself it will be alright in the end (whenever that might be). |

Evening all
Back to normal Tedding here but, fortunately, it didn't really get started 'till after my walk to Sainsbury's. Just been watching Shooting the War on iPlayer having been engaged watching Slumdog Millionaire on a DVD last evening when it was on BBC4? I'm not a great follower of war reminders but this compilation of amateur film makers who were actually serving in either the British or German forces was both powerful and very interesting historically as it was not created by a propaganda machine. If you didn't get to see it, I can merely say, go to iPlayer and marvel. |
