Rosie and me are going to Ordrupgaard to look at French and Funish (can I say that about painters from Funen, our second biggest island?) paintings.
They also dabble in architecture. Oh, I think I'm in for a treat.

Evening all

I have the fondest memories of Denmark from the first visit in the RAcolleague's's Mercedes cabriolet during my National Service and then some camping and cycling when I was living near Hamburg. I still have one of those photographs taken of the boat trips around Copenhagen.

Evening all

I have the fondest memories of Copenhagen starting from a first visit when I went with the Sec P1 officer in his Mercedes cabriolet for a long weekend visit when I was doing my National Service. I still have a photo somewhere as a passenger on the round canal boat trip.
Later, I also went camping and cycling - not too many mountains to face!

blanco, I'm glad Denmark treated you well.
We do have many pretty places
- nothing dramatic but with its own beauty for those with a taste for that
- and we do try to accomodate bicyclists by being a flat country,
- and one member of Parliament got elected by promising tail wind on all bicycle paths ...
- furthermore, if you meet a hill on you bicycle trip, it always is downhill
tongue
