I am a top 25 producer on the daily stats... I'm looking for a new team... convince me.. I'm a stats junkie if that helps... :)

That's great! But anyone who expects the members of Liberty Belle to spend their time blowing smoke is gonna have a hell of a long wait. We don't do that here! Everybody is treated the same way, as a human being.

On the other hand, the Skipper is slow to anger and fast to offer support or encouragement. He has friends in this team he's known for about 30 years, but none of them is a Mod. That's because LM puts 'all' members of this team before personal friendships. Do you want a team led by someone who'll sell you a snow job to get you to join their team, or one led by a man who understands people about as well as anyone can? It's your choice mate. We chose the humanitarian type, and not one of us has any cause to be sorry we did.

I cant sit here with no team interaction so here it is.... I'm a stats junkie if that helps... :)

If you are looking for team interaction, cyberwire, just do a search on the postings over the last month. It will tell you how much the teams post, and what their unique styles are. There is simply no substitute for doing your own groundwork. thinking

MyOnline Team & Tribalwar are probably the most active lately. MyOnline Team has been consistently the most active since the beginning of the project. As to style, they are as different as night and day.

Onlike the other teams which have some hook (geographical region, group identification, employer, etc.) that brings them together, MOT members are a geographically dispersed bunch of upbeat individuals who join the team because of the personality of the team, it's vision, it's members and it's steadfast committment to this research project.

Tribalwar needs to be the ones to describe their own team. As do all the other teams, as well.

In the end, cyberwire, we are all doing the same crunching. This is all that really counts. Your contribution to the effort is exceptional. Please make it a point to join whatever team provides you with the pleasure and motivation that assures you will stay actively involved in this project.

Thanks for being aboard & happy crunching! peace

Hi Cyberwire,

If you want a pleasant time whit a international bunch of crunching maniacs then you should at least have a try with the best supported team of the WCG and the rest of the WWW.

We even got a team mascotte, so all kind of pets are allowed.

Regards

rose Check out the Cybernauts rose

Hi cyberwire -

First of all I want to thank you for your significant contribution to the WCG since you joined on 11/16/2004 and for your 1st forum post today.

You have a cool handle "cyberwire" and I would suggest that you might consider joining the "Cybernauts" team.

Here's a link to their WCG team statistics page and a link to their team home page.

The team captain PRNRN91 would certainly welcome and appreciate your joining the "Cybernauts" team.

Best of wishes to you, no matter which team you choose and ...

let's keep folding those proteins.

Re: Hmm.. my team hasnt really picked up... soooo...

I figured Team Anandtech, which does so well in other projects might do well in this one so I made the team, got a few members to join, but then the interest totally fell off. I cant sit here with no team interaction so here it is....

cyberwire! Please don't leave our team! I've started posting daily stats to the distributed computing thread in the anandtech forums - hopefully we can get a few more people join. If you could help me out by posting to this thread that would be great as it would help convince people to join. I'm trying to figure out a polite way to tell them to quit Seti and join us wink

Re: Hmm.. my team hasnt really picked up... soooo...

Hi Cyberwire.

While you're thinking about which team to join, here's something else you might like to think about.

The number of people crunching for a team, and the amount of points they make isn't what makes a team great. The members do that. If a team has naff members, would you want to join it? I've learned that from one of the best team leaders anywhere, ours. Forget numbers and stats for a while, think people.

As for your friend wanting to 'tell' people to leave SETI to join your team, I wouldn't thank anyone for 'telling' me what I have to do. That isn't what teamwork is about. My mum and I are both members of Liberty Belle and never want to be with any other team.
