The choice is yours, of course. But if it helps any, I went through similar angst when my own team seemed to be going nowhere, despite my personal top-ten ranking, and I have been happy with my choice of teams: MyOnlineTeam. (links in sig below)
----------------------------------------They are definitely one of the more active groups in the WCG, which keeps the interest level up, and if stats are your thing, there are several members who seem to have made it their goal in life to pick apart the numbers from every possible angle... on a daily or near-daily basis! So there are definitely plenty of stats to mull over. Just check the [current] team thread to see what I mean. If you're interested in reading the thread I started some time ago asking almost the exact same question you ask here, check out: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=876 MOT isn't the only group out there, and it may not be to your taste. If so, good luck with your decision. Tribalwar has a different method of recruiting.
----------------------------------------Only the best of the best of the best make the team. The only way you get on is if dudes in black suits show up and drop a business card on you. You will only get a card if you run down an encephalapod on foot. This will get you into an interview. Anyway, we are pretty much the l33t. Even though you probably won't ever make it to our interview, we wish you luck. Heck, even if you do, you will probably fail but you won't remember. We blank out everyone's memory with a flashy thingie. As a matter of fact, I am holding one right here. It has some little buttons on the side that... ...What was I saying? Only the best of the best of the best make the team. Which means everyone from Tribalwar. Tribalwar is a lot closer to Anandtech than MyOnlineTeam will ever be. MyOnlineTeam is a cozy gathering around the camp fire and singing Kumbaya. It's all very ... social and cuddly and cute. In other words, it is all that Tribalwar is not, and that is why you need to join Tribalwar. We are in this to win, because that's just what we do. We are an internet forum, not a virtual campfire. We do not virtually huggle. We know forum drama for what it really is, and we harbor no illusions. We too span the globe, and we are as interested in computer hardware and software as Anandtech is.
