Re: FAAH Beta 6.07 for experiment 28

(Sekerob): Think to have read the reason (for the betas), but can't retrace it, sorry, something about tough target ...
I see that the version number is 6.07. The current production version of Autodock (faah, dddt, hfcc) is 6.06, so there may be some changes in the code.

Re: FAAH Beta 6.07 for experiment 28

Same here I've got three in PV with no replication. I didn't remember seeing beta FA@H WUs when new experiments were added. Is there something special about this set of tests?

This is not a beta just for new work units in an experiment. They are actually testing two things with batch 5919 in beta. First is some code changes in the autodock program. Second is the method the structure is distributed to members. This is the arrow structure. This will allow us to send different structures with different work units making the graphics more dynamic. At this moment, we put in a temporary structure for distribution to make sure the code will handle it. In future batches we will send structure created by the researchers. There is no timetable set in stone for the second change in production work units.

Re: FAAH Beta 6.07 for experiment 28

Also, these work units were not split up in the normal 6-8 hour time batches as you have noticed. The work units only needed a few runs to determine if the changes were proper. Thus shorter work units.

Thank you again for you participation!
