the object is to complete beta in the shortest time over the widest range of devices.

This was certainly the fastest Beta I've had! 2.63 hours to process and 3.75 hours between download and reported completion.

Thanks for the 0.1 day buffer recommendation... I didn't get any betas until I set that.

Actually, it's been mentioned several times now in recent weeks it's not the buffer size, just not oversize! The server rule is to first offer beta jobs if the client is enrolled in the program and report a 'normal' status.

e.g. My Quad & Duo seem favored, yet have a mult-iday buffer. It's just that they push allot of work through so they call more frequently for cache-backfilling.

All that said, if 0.1day works for you, don't fix what's not broken :D

It was 2 days before and I didn't get any for 2 months. Got my first one within a couple of days of setting to 0.1.

It was probably just a coincidencethen, but as you say, since it works for me then I won't change it.
