Re: News from the Crunching Field

Put your hand together, unofficially, based on elements such as WU's completed on top of what the official research site shows, we've passed 80% done mark.

Friday update: 2022 parent

My last parent was a 2023, received on Wednesday, validated yesterday.

Now I have lots and lots of children in the range between 2010 and 2013.

Regards,
Martin

Re: News from the Crunching Field

A new big refilling of grandchild WUs evenly spread from 2009 to 2030.
It's more and more difficult for me to catch the grandchild availability periods. There are probably less and less as batches are less difficult now and child WUs are more often sufficient to close them.

Re: News from the Crunching Field

Seems the guys near Paris have trouble taking in the output volume... surely you saw the slowdown note, but the exclusive crunchers still being enabled to get all they want.

Re: News from the Crunching Field

I had not seen the slowdown warnings yet but I sure noticed it: instead of refilling by bursts of 15 as usual they came 2 or 3 at a time or even less, with "no work available" answers from time to time when the servers had to load new buffers to be able to give CMD2s again.

At this time I still have about 2 days of grandchild WUs in the quad so, "will see next time"... smile

Yip I think you're right in saying it's a buffer/feeder level issue. According to the dashboard graph as of 13/7 11:12:05 UTC there's 183 days of work left.
