EDIT: The GTX260's are doing wu's in 12 minutes. wink

I got a funny feeling we're due for another round of project outages. Durn lemming effect. Wonder who'll be next? SETI's got bandwidth problems.

We had a good day on BOINCStats! Back at 182. Think we passed OS/2 Warp today. I like to check it midafternoon here right after their update runs. They do seem to update credit numbers on ongoing basis but the others stuff only in the daily updates.

You should be able to see the granted credit in the results table. We do this both for members to see what we did as well as it allows us to 'mark' results that have had credit granted.

RT - Your 120 hours workunit was actually a different problem. There have been 1-2 workunits a week that behave as that one did. We are looking into that problem also. I have granted credit for that issue as well.

Thanks KNR. smile

It was not that big of deal...just hate that the time was wasted. sad

It still looks like there's issues with at least some of the WUs not yet being credited. Hopefully they'll continue trickle in over the next few days.

I agree that it wasn't that big a deal... and I wouldn't have minded at all if they errored off in minutes instead of hours.

Does Aqua work with 260 gtx?

Yes, but they ran out of work on their test wu's. Worked out good for me as they ran out of work just about the same time GPUGrid got their servers back up. I have two of the last few AQUA's sent out and they are back to being large and GPU intensive. sad I'm just looking for something to use on the 8500GT.

Yes, it is hard to pick a time. YoYo reports many times a day, WCG twice daily and GPUGrid only once. Any time you pick is just a snapshot in time.

I am going to begin canabalizing my beloved HP Pavillion M9040n's. sad They have been such good crunchers for the past two years but can only run one card and they run hot. The goal this summer is to get the farm doing a lot more work with a lot fewer machines (and hopfully less electricity). That Antec case is great with all the fans. The CPU's are in the low 50C and the 3 cards are in the high 50's low 60's. The Xion cases are just a couple of degrees higher. The HP's however are near 80C on the GPU's and mid 70's in the CPU. I ordered 2 more cases and will order the other parts as they go on sale (and the money "appears"). The power supplies cost almost as much as the mobo's. sad
Back to the garden today. The corn is ripe.

Well darn, looks like this isn't going to happen. Knreed says here that they can't grant credit for any errors that have aged out of the database.... if you look at the CEP stats and take a SWAG at how long results typically stay in the database, this is probably several thousand WUs. sad Well, at least it's closure.

Good to hear you got it. I would do a clean install ... I only tried upgrade once and it failed. A bit of advice ... spend the time with the GF ... plenty of time to nerd out when she is gone. wink

The sweet, white corn is sooooo good. Froze a bunch for this winter too.

peace
