Hey anyone from team maryland around? I did a search for maryland on the forum and didn't really find anything, just wanted to say hi. This is my first day helping with this computer grid project. I'm from Towson md, and want to attend college park in the fall.

----------------------------------------First of all, welcome to the World Community Grid. There are several teams with "Maryland" in their name. One is "University of Maryland Grid". If you don't find a Maryland team to your liking, we sure would welcome you to our team, "MyOnlineTeam". Our team started the day that the World Community Grid went public and has shown steady growth since then. Our membership includes people from all around the world and of all ages. Check out our team web site by clicking on the pointer to it in my signature below. You can also check out our team thread here in this forum. It has the title, "  "Classic" MyOnlineTeam is back! You could also start your own team and recruit from your town for it, or you could join my team....LOL We are a new and struggling team with members from all over but almost evenly devided between the UK and the US.
